I always enjoy your collections of film typewriters.
I see that Tintin owns a Granville Automatic, which is also the name of a typewriter-loving musical duo.
Interesting–I always wonder if collectors will be able to identify various typers from scuzzy screenshots. You probably saw this post from last year, with production sketches of Tintin’s typewriters: http://oztypewriter.blogspot.com/2012/02/tintin-typewriter-collector.html.
I remember that electric typer from Spike Jonze’s “Adaptation.” I enjoyed the film a lot, Chris Cooper was the bomb.
I’ll have to check out those Chabrol films.
Of those three Chabrol films, I think La Cérémonie is the one to start with.
